Uncle Ed and Aunt Nancy move to Boston

Cousin Sarah sent this for the Robin about Uncle Ed and Aunt Nancy:
Yes, we have moved to Lexington, MA, 2 miles from Janey, Gill, Max and Ben. (Jacob is at Northeastern U. in Boston, so he's further away.)  We have a lovely one bedroom apartment two blocks from the town center, the recreation center with its heated pool, and walking distance to lots of stores and shops and restaurants, and at least 6 different churches.  (The Methodist church is not one of the six.)  The Monroe Center for the Arts is about a mile from home and I'm taking water-color classes there.  Our house sold within two months of putting it on the market!  Which was quite surprising considering the really slow housing market in Maine.  We closed on Nov. 15th.
This is the first time since June that we have come home with no scheduled trip back to Maine!  Maybe now we can find our new church home and make some new friends.  We left so many behind and know almost no one here yet.  But we will get to know some soon.
If you have an opportunity to come to the Boston area, please let us know.  We do have a sofa bed in the living room that can be opened in spite of the stacks of unpacked boxes sitting around at the moment. It took five months to downsize and pack.  I  hope it doesn't take that long to unpack!
Here's our snail mail address:  38 B Worthen Rd. Apt. 1,  Lexington, MA 02421-4822     Our land line number is: 781-538-6936
I plan to get our Christmas letter out right away, but just in case:; Best wishes for a joyous Christmas and a wonderful 2011.
Love,  Nancy and Ed

So glad to hear you have landed. I am about to start traveling again, this time to Oklahoma to play Amanda in "The Glass Menagerie." Will return home in March.

Love you all.
