Your Uncle Loren (my Dad) will celebrate his 98th birthday on Oct 7 this
coming Thurday. If any one wants to send him a card-- his address is

I flew down to visit in mid July. He and Mary still live in an independent
apartment at Hillcrest. They do eat a few more meals in the dining room
or the cafe but still fix a lot of their meals in their unit. My sis, Sue
takes them grocery shopping or they ride the Hillcrest bus. Sue had a
little family birthday brunch for him yesterday. Hopefully all his 5
great grandchildren who live in Calif. were there.
We will be going south again this winter and plan to spend time with Dad
and Mary in Jan and March (God willing)
My oldest grandchild is a freshman at the Univ of Washington. Makes me
feel a little old until I look at Dad.
Hope all is well with the east coast Andrews clan. Let me know about any
reunion plans but they need to be longer than part of one day to fly 3000
